Vintage 1960s Royal Albert YELLOW ROSE Floral Cup & Saucer Heavy Burnished Gold

  

This is a fancy cabinet set with extensive burnished gold gilding which has been sprayed on the crimped edges. An unnamed pattern - number 4461. GAINSBOROUGH shape with a very distinctive ornate cup handle; note the saucer with piecrust details. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly. No wear to the floral pattern on cup interior or saucer exterior.

No wear to burnished gold. Cup measures 3" tall at sides and is 4 1/4" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2 across. Marked as shown in photo with Royal Albert crown mark and number 4461 on bottom of cup. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash.

This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection or a lovely gift. Please examine all photos to make your own determination of condition. I do try and describe my items accurately.
