LARGE Antique Art Deco 5.2g Heavy 14k Rose Gold CHRYSOPRASE Oval Ring XL Green

Eye catching Art Deco ring with large vibrant green cabochon chrysoprase in a geometric setting with scrolling decorative gallery on the underside of the gold work. The bezel is wrapped flush around the edges of the stone so it has a very modern and sleek design despite its age. The stone is sliced thin so it is slightly transparent with a lovely color. This piece has the Austrian horse head hallmark for 14k Gold used only from 1922 to 1925 which helps us accurately date the piece.

It is also stamped 585, the numerical hallmarking system for 14k gold used in Europe. Very large attention grabbing size on this statement ring with the beautiful green color. Ring is about a size 5. The ring face is 25mm by 16mm.

It weighs a sturdy 5.23 grams. Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Uniform surface wear and scratches to the stone made more notable by the large flat mirrored surface. If caught in a reflection in can have a few cloudy spots or a slightly matte finish from the surface wear. But Overall though the stone has a sheen and finish. Some scratches to the bezel when caught in a reflection as well so please look for that in photos. Surface wear to the gold as well but no chips, cracks, misshapen areas. But of course due to age - Please note this piece is not in mint condition. I would be delighted if you'd follow me.
