A superb heavy quality Art Deco signet ring in solid 9 carat pale rose gold and dating to 1945. It's wonderfully ornately engraved with a monogram of the initials'JC' or'CJ' with fantastic finely detailed flourishes, to its hexagonal Deco head. This falls away wonderfully to faceted, tapering shoulders and a lovely thick gold band.
It bears a crisp, clear full English hallmark for Birmingham 1945 and the maker's mark HG&S for Henry Griffith and Sons, a top quality designer in operation since 1850 and still working today to create the finest English jewels. It's in near perfect vintage condition, and is a size 8.75, resizeable if needed. It weighs 5.0 grams and feels fantastically weighty in the hand. What's more, I offer layaway deals so there's no need to let any of my listings slip through your fingers - just ask!
