Antique Heavy Solid 14K Gold George Robinson Montreal Swiss Pocket Watch c. This listing is for a mint 14k solid gold Swiss made pocket watch retailed by George Robinson & Co, Montreal. This is a heavy watch with a very thick gauge gold case. There's 57.78 grams of solid 14k gold in the case. See last pic on the scales with everything removed from the case. The case is hallmarked (and tests) as 14k solid gold. Engraving to the inside of the case dated 1896. Exhibition inner case to view the movement (movement glass cover is missing). The watch looks like it has never been used and is in absolutely mint condition. The engine turned decoration to the rear of the case looks like it has just left the factory.

High quality Swiss made lever movement with wolf tooth winding and a cam regulator. No makers name that I can see, but this was made by one of the top Swiss makers of the time. Robinson & Co, Montreal, Non Magnetic, Adjusted, Switzerland, 98412. Is working well, running strongly and keeps perfect time. Original white enamel dial is also signed.

Robinson & Co, Montreal Blue steel hands. Dial and glass in excellent condition. The watch measures approx 52mm across and weighs 121 grams (case alone weighs 57.78 grams).
