"Antique 9ct Rose Gold Fancy Link Albert Pocketwatch Chain" Circa 1880 Heavy 30g. The chain is hallmarked "9c" on a tab for 9 carat gold (please refer to photos) this was commonly seen on Victorian jewellery. Both the dog clip and the t-bar are also hallmarked "9c" for 9 carat gold and I would say that the chain is all original. The watch Albert is in excellent condition with no damage and very little wear to the links and the hallmarks are crisp and clear, the dog clip is secure. The chain measures 14 in length (at the maximum) which is a good length for a single Albert watch chain as these were worn either side of the centre of the waist coat, therefore it is not long enough to be worn around the neck if this is what you require. The links are a fancy link which measures 7mm wide and it weighs a very heavy 30.0 grams.
This is a superb clean example of a 9 carat solid rose gold fancy link Albert chain which would make a strong addition to any gentleman's gold pocketwatch.
