"Antique 15ct Rose Gold Fancy Link Double Albert Pocketwatch Chain" Circa 1900 Heavy 59.0g Rare. The chain is hallmarked on each individual link. 625" and "15 for 15 carat gold (please refer to photos). The watch Albert is in excellent condition with no damage and very little wear to the links and the hallmarks are crisp and clear, both of the dog clips are secure. The chain measures 15 in length (at the maximum) which is the correct length for a double Albert watch chain as these were worn either side of the centre of the waist coat, therefore it is not long enough to be worn around the neck if this is what you require.
The links are a fancy trombone link which measures 7mm wide and 25mm long and it weighs a very heavy 59.0 grams. This is a superb clean example of a 15 carat solid rose gold double Albert chain which is rare in itself firstly to find one in 15 carat gold but to be 15ct rose gold is rarer again, this would make a strong addition to any gentleman's gold pocketwatch.
