Handmade during the Art Nouveau era in the style of wedding jewelry, with bracelets being popular as gifts to brides during this time period. Composed of 14k rose gold. Inspired by the designs of the Etruscan Revival. Features hand-applied black Taille d'Epargne enamel. This enamel adorns the loop and buckle motif of the bracelet's unique faux buckle design (please see damage notes below regarding this buckle).
Hand-chased scrolling foliate motifs also adorn the face of the band, while the bottom of the band showcases a chased floral design. Closes securely via a box clasp, safety and safety chain all made of solid 14k yellow/ rose gold. There is jewelry adhesive visible around the buckle and on one of the safety chain bales from a past repair, which does not affect wear. There are several minor dents to the inside of the band, which do not affect wear and would not be visible when worn.
There are also two dents to the side and outside bottom of the band, which also would be difficult to see when worn. There are minor chips and wear to the enamel, mostly at the edges; this is not visible without close inspection. Extremely vibrant gold because i always polish to original condition - sorry patina lovers?
