1950-60s ELIZABETHAN Staffordshire MAJESTIC BLUE ROSE CUP & SAUCER Heavy Gold

Similar in quality and style to those of Paragon and Aynsley. This is a fancy cabinet set with extensive gold gilding. MAJESTIC pattern featuring an elegant blue rose and green leaves. The background color inside is very pale blue; the outside is a stunning teal.

Very open bowl with slightly scalloped edges. Heavy bright gold trim including the full handle and the ribbed cup base. Virtualy mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly. No wear to the floral pattern on cup interior or saucer exterior.

No wear noted to gold. Cup measures 2 3/8" tall at sides, 2 1/2" tall to top of handle and is 5 1/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 5/8" across.

Marked as shown in photk with pattern name in script. Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash. This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection. Please ignore the many white spots on the photos from camera glare. They are not found on the surface of the jug.
