1891-1914 French Coiffe Limoges Johann Haviland Heavy Gold Gilt Cake Dish Signed

  

This exquisite dish is decorated with a wide heavy Gold Gilt fluted edge. The inner white section has a band of pink, yellow and white roses.

The mark is a 7 sided star representing the French Limoges Coiffe Company that made blanks often decorated by other companies. This gorgeous dish is decorated by Johann Haviland. Her mark is barely legible in the back center of the plate. The antique dish, from an estate sale, is in amazingly great condition with only light wear on the gold.
